President Tebboune held telephone talks with his Nigerian counterpart Mohamed Bazoum: An "exceptional" level of relations between the two countries

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune had, Tuesday, a telephone conversation with his brother, the President of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Mohamed Bazoum, during which they discussed the "exceptional" level of relations between the two countries and ways to promote them, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.

"The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune had a telephone conversation with his brother the President of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Mohamed Bazoum," said the statement.

During the meeting, the two presidents "welcomed the exceptional level of relations between Algeria and Niger, discussed ways to promote them and exchanged views on major issues of common interest," said the same source.

On this occasion, the President of the Republic reiterated "his best wishes to President Mohamed Bazoum for the confidence placed in him by the people of brotherly Niger," concludes the document.
