The national airline Air Algerie has decided to temporarily suspend all its flights "from and to" France from the cities of Setif, Batna, Tlemcen, El Oued, Biskra, Chlef, Bejaia and Annaba, as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus, she said Friday in a statement.

Air Algeria has also decided to reduce, from tomorrow March 14 to April 4, its flights "from and to" France from Algiers, Oran and Constantine, the same source added.

In addition, it suspends all its flights "from and to" Spain from March 16 to April 4, 2020.

Passengers affected by the disruptions to their flights can benefit from a change of reservation, a postponement or a refund without charge, the press release states.

It should be recalled that Air Algeria had announced last Wednesday the suspension of flights "from and to" Rome (Italy) from Sunday, March 15, as a preventive measure due to the spread of the new Coronavirus in Italy.
